The role involves delivering day-to-day housing management functions, ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenancies are sustained, and services are tailored to the needs of tenants, especially those with additional vulnerabilities.
The Role
What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload of both general needs and supported housing tenancies, including sign-ups, tenancy reviews, property inspections, and void checks.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance, ensure properties meet safety and habitability standards, and support compliance with legal and health & safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with tenants, support their understanding of tenancy agreements, and provide advice on hygiene, property upkeep, and safe appliance use.
- Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies, local authorities, and internal support services to advocate for residents and resolve tenancy-related issues.
- Oversee property readiness including utilities setup and furniture provision in line with the charity’s standards.
About You
You bring proven experience in housing, tenancy management, or a related community-focused role, along with a strong understanding of both general needs and supported housing models. Resilient and compassionate, you’re confident collaborating with partners and thrive in high-pressure environments where your skills make a real difference.
