New Foundation Club Member: Back to Fitness Physio

Back to Fitness Physio in Ripponden helps people of all ages with all manner of musculoskeletal conditions such as sports injuries, back pain, sciatica, arthritis, joint pain, tendon and ligament problems and following surgery. Set in a beautifully renovated Grade II listed building, the clinic provides treatments including hands-on, sports massage, strength and conditioning training, sports-specific rehab, Pilates and acupuncture. They are also one of only a few clinics in the North of England offering K-Laser and shockwave therapy.

Head physio and clinic owner Charlotte Murray is passionate about the wide range of support offered by the Happy Days team to people in our community who are socially vulnerable. We caught up with her for a chat to find out why Back to Fitness Physio decided to become our latest Foundation Club member.

What motivated you to join the Happy Days Foundation Club?

Happy Days is there for people when they are at the lowest possible point in their lives. When they have nowhere to turn, Happy Days opens its doors to them and makes sure they get exactly the support they need. To have an organisation like that working at the heart of the community is something we should never take for granted and we decided we wanted to support the charity in any way we could.

Why is it important to you as a local company to support the charity?

The whole team here at Back to Fitness Physio supported the decision to become a Foundation Club member and commit to regular financial support. We know ourselves as a business how important regular income is when it comes to planning for the future. We also recognise that we are part of the Calderdale community and we wanted to give something back.

How do you see your partnership with Happy Days developing in the future?

Becoming a Foundation Club member will help us connect with other businesses who have joined the club and who have a similar ethos to us. We are looking forward to learning from others about how we can get more involved and following the progress of the charity as part of its supporter community.

What would you say to other businesses that might be interested in joining the Foundation Club?

Happy Days is a hard-working charity that is making a difference to people’s lives. If that kind of impact is important to you, we would highly recommend considering becoming part of the Foundation Club. Together we can make a real difference to those in greatest need in Calderdale.
