Happy Days

Could you host a food collection point?

We’re looking for schools, businesses, churches and groups throughout the throughout Halifax and the Calder Valley to take turns hosting a temporary food hub for 3 months where local people can drop off donations for our food banks.

Demand for food parcels has never been higher. Together we can make it easier for people to give to those in need.

By becoming one of our Community Champions and hosting a food donation point, you’ll be making a real impact on the lives of local families in need, helping us provide them with food and essentials that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford.

Interested? Email [email protected]

What is a Community Champion

  • You commit to being a food donation hub for 3 months
  • We give you a collection bin for your premises
  • Together we spread the word
  • Local people visit to drop off food items
  • We collect and replace the bin when it’s full

Why get involved?

  • Help feed local families
  • Keep food banks well stocked
  • Make it easy for people to donate
  • Support your community

All our Community Champions receive a certificate as a thank you for taking part.
